Coaching and Tutoring

We take a holistic approach to your writing and writing process. These sessions are for individual coaching, not groups. We engage with you in a one on one dialogue about how to address your challenges as a writer. Because of our wide experience across different writing contexts, we understand that every writer is different. Writers engaging with emotionally difficult subjects face unique obstacles finding their authentic voices and staying true to their values. Writers who are neurodiverse may have different challenges revising their work than writers who are not. Writers producing work in dynamic and shifting settings need to develop skills that allow them to write under any conditions. These are some of the challenges we’ve encountered ourselves as writers and teachers of writing. Our coaching service is designed to work with you and your needs. Our consultations provide you with tools to strengthen your writing practice and your writing project.

Payment: half in advance and the balance upon delivery.

Price: $450 flat fee for 5 one hour sessions. Price includes a follow up letter after each session, outlining challenges, improvements, goals and next steps.

$855 flat fee for 10 one hour sessions. Price includes a follow up letter after each session, outlining challenges, improvements, goals and next steps. Scheduling and frequency are flexible and based on your needs and our availability.

Rush pricing is not available.

Tutoring sessions are designed to address specific writing and humanities-based skillsets, like reading and analyzing literature, writing academic papers, etc. for undergraduate and graduate students. We use specific examples to teach you how to analyze and identify the strengths and weaknesses of your own writing. We help you identify prevailing usage patterns in your writing. Tutoring sessions are not editorial services: they are instructional and learning experiences, where we teach you how to improve and refine your own writing.

Price: $50 dollars/hour

Payment in full is due at least 24 hours prior to the session.
